If you're having a lot of infections, your lymph nodes could be swollen from fighting off an infection. I would also recommend looking into getting a tonsillectomy if your tonsils are swollen and discomforting. However, I doubt your doctor gave you the wrong antibiotics. You should go back and get another check up.
