Commercial real estate is the field I want to get in. I am in Residential now. Read and reply.?

Hi I am Ryan Brown and I currently attend college in a smaller town about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Atlanta, GA. I am 20 years old. My real estate office is about 30-40 minutes away and I go in about 3 days a week. I am interested in getting into Commercial real estate however I am so far from Atlanta where all the action happens. I don't want to leave my life and school yet. I only have about 2 1/2 years to go. What should I do to start becoming more established in Commercial real estate or really start becoming big in Residential and leaning more towards a fine home area. Thanks.
