Pocket of white stuff above my tonsil? Nurse or doc , med student, any opinion?

I always thought it was food that lodged in the craters of the tonsil......they actually will come out of you can get to it without gagging...can make your breath smell too...so if you can get at safely go for it..or try gargling with some warm salt water periodically to try and loosen it.
