You're going to pay more on the Peninsula. You'd likely do better having it in Lexington. I used to live in Falls Church and went to a couple of weddings in the DC area while I was living there. I heard that they were quite pricey, but the further southwest you go, towards Roanoke, etc. the cheaper the venues become. My ex went to Radford and we went to wedding in Blacksburg. It was nice and I heard it wasn't all that expensive in comparison to NOVA.
